Let me be honest, this year we haven’t photographed many weddings for obvious reasons (#COVID #2020). Most of our 2020 weddings got rescheduled for 2021 and we’re thankful that our couples put everyone’s safety first. Kate and Charlie decided to downsize their wedding to just 21 guests and move the entire celebration to BOK‘s rooftop. Their intimate rooftop micro wedding was one of the most special weddings that we were a part of!
Nicole from Rabbit Rabbit Crew worked some magic to accommodate all of the changes. Claudia from Jollifier created Kate’s bouquet and florals. Birchtree Catering modified the way they served food and drinks to minimize contact but managed to still have everything look beautiful and taste delicious!
One of our favorite details was that Charlie’s sister officiated the couple’s ceremony via ZOOM. She couldn’t make it to the wedding because of safety precautions and it was so fun that technology provided this work around!
Kate and Charlie definitely had a different vision for their wedding while they were planning it. But they were so happy with how their intimate micro wedding on the rooftop turned out! 23-person weddings are where it’s at!
