Elopement/micro wedding

DIY intimate NYC elopement

Weddings look very different these days. There are masks, social distancing and less guests. There is rescheduling, downsizing and rethinking your plans. But I feel like I’m actually drawn to the simplicity of stripping it down to what’s most important. For Chelsea and John, it meant celebrating with 8 of their closest people at Chelsea’s childhood park in NYC. It meant having their intimate ceremony officiated by their close friend and writing their own vows. It meant having a picnic with key-lime pie and champagne. It meant taking some photos on the pier at sunset. It even meant crossing out their wedding date on their original invitations and writing a new date over it! It feels truly special to be able to document these meaningful celebrations. It makes me fall in love with what I do all over again!
