I am excited to share Colleen and Will’s lovely wedding at Colonial Dames Society in Philadelphia. Colleen and her bridesmaids got ready at Raddisson Blu Warwick hotel in Center City. It was a beautiful late August day and we went to Rittenhouse Square and the surrounding streets for some portraits of Colleen and Will and their bridal party. They had an intimate garden ceremony (right in Center City!) followed by an outdoor cocktail hour and reception upstairs. Their late-night whiskey and cigar bar was a thoughtful addition to the reception, as well as having sparklers at the end of the night for their exit. Congratulations Colleen and Will!

A few words from the bride and groom about their wedding:

“What inspired us most was our venue, the Colonial Dames Society. We loved the idea of hosting our guests in a historic home with a beautiful hidden garden right in center city Philadelphia. We wanted to create a fun atmosphere that encouraged our friends and family to mingle and explore this beautiful property.

We chose to write our own vows and were honored to be able to share this intimate moment with our guests. It was important to us to incorporate little personal touches throughout the day such as postcards from important places in our lives for guests to sign, treats from each of our hometowns, and a whiskey and cigar bar with our favorite after dinner drinks.

Overall our favorite part of the wedding was simply having all of the people we love and care about together for one night to celebrate with us…and the awesome dance party that ensued!”
