I’m very excited to share this fun styled shoot at Mission Taqueria! Mission is a new alternative venue in Philly that hosts intimate wedding receptions, as well as rehearsal dinners and brunches. The space itself is unique and perfect for photos! It’s filled with natural light, has some cool neon signs on white and brick walls, colorful furniture and tons of plants. If you’re looking for something with modern, clean and airy vibe, this space might be perfect for you. Mission’s food and drinks (grilled wild shrimp or fried mahi mahi tacos! guava and mango margaritas! seafood ceviche! churros and flan!) are amazing and your guests are going to be impressed by their colorful and delicious options. Ah, it makes me want tacos as I’m typing this!
For this shoot, we went for a relaxed, intimate and fun same-sex elopement. Our models are actually a married couple IRL and one of them bartends at Mission! The ladies’ wardrobe (the jumpsuit and the dress) are from BHLDN. Hair and makeup was done by Herringbone Salon and Shimmer and Spice. Sarah from Vault and Vine created colorful florals for the brides and Meg from Nutmeg Cake Design provided their wedding cake and cookies. Other awesome Philly vendors include Bario Neal (gorgeous rings!) and Maria Bedia (invitations).
