Location: South Philly
Located on the eighth floor of the historic BOK Building in South Philadelphia, Irwin’s is one of the city’s most unique wedding venues. The rooftop terrace offers sweeping skyline views and the inside features modern industrial design. The restaurant specializes in modern Sicilian cuisine with handmade pastas, seasonal vegetables, seafood, and an outstanding natural wine program.

2) OSTERIA
Location: North Philly
Capacity: 65 seated / 75 standing at The Greenhouse and 120 seated / 165 standing for the full restaurant
Osteria is one of the country’s most critically acclaimed Italian restaurants. They offers several private event spaces, but the famous glass-enclosed Greenhouse with adjoining outdoor Pergola remains the star of the show. Filled with natural light and hanging plants, it’s one of the most romantic dining spaces in Philadelphia. Depending on the size of your celebration, you can chose to rent out the Greenhouse for 65-75 guests or the full restaurant for 120-165. Family-style Italian dining encourages guests to share dishes and conversation, creating exactly the kind of relaxed atmosphere that we love documenting!

Location: Old City
Capacity: 40 seated, 50 standing for the Parlour Room, 25 seated – 35 cocktail for the Garden Patio
Located in the heart of historic Old City, this vibrant bistro combines French-forward cuisine with one of the most charming private event spaces in Philadelphia. The upstairs Parlour Room features antique mirrors, exposed brick, and a private mahogany bar, while the adjacent covered Garden Patio provides a beautiful setting for ceremonies or cocktail hour beneath string lights and lush greenery.
4) WILDER
Location: Center City
Capacity: 10 to 150
If you’re looking for a stylish, design-forward restaurant wedding in Philadelphia, Wilder is one of the city’s most exciting options. Located in Rittenhouse Square/Center City, this three-story restaurant features eclectic decor with velvet banquettes, hand-painted murals, and warm lighting. Wilder offers several event spaces, from private dining rooms to full restaurant buyouts for weddings ranging from intimate celebrations to approximately 150 guests. Their seasonal New American menu, handcrafted cocktails, and personalized event experience make it an excellent choice for couples who want an elevated dinner party vibe.

As a working distillery in Fishtown, this venue offers industrial design, stunning view from their 4th floor cocktail lab and massive windows. Wedding ceremonies can accommodate approximately 120 guests, while receptions can host up to 150 guests. Their in-house cocktail program is naturally a huge highlight, making this venue especially appealing for couples who want an energetic celebration centered around great drinks and food.
6) CICALA
Location: North Philly
Capacity: 100 for ceremonies and seated dinner, 150 for standing receptions
Housed inside the historic Divine Lorraine Hotel, Cicala offers southern Italian cuisine in a beautifully restored dining room featuring an antique bar and plush velvet booths. The main dining room accommodates up to 100 seated guests, while additional spaces throughout the historic building, including the iconic hotel lobby and Sorellina, allow couples to customize their celebration.

Set inside a beautifully restored whiskey blending and bottling factory in Fishtown, the space combines exposed brick, soaring windows, warm wood accents, and Italian wood-fired cuisine for a wedding that feels effortlessly cool. The restaurant offers multiple event spaces, including the wood oven room, garden, main dining room, and full buyout option, for celebrations ranging from intimate dinners to receptions of around 100 seated guests. One unique bonus? The boutique hotel upstairs makes getting ready or spending your wedding night incredibly convenient while adding even more character to your celebration.
8) FRINGE BAR
Location: Old City
Capacity: 80 for a seated reception, 150 for a cocktail style reception
Located along the Delaware River right across from Ben Franklin Bridge, Fringe Bar is an American Brasserie featuring soaring ceilings, industrial architecture, and a bright, open dining room, as well as a seasonal outdoor Beer Garden. They can host seated receptions for 80 or cocktail style receptions for 150 and the outdoor garden is included with the full buyout. The adjacent Fringe Arts building is available for larger receptions. It’s an ideal venue for couples who want creative architecture, exceptional food, and plenty of room for dancing without sacrificing the intimate feel of a restaurant wedding.

Location: Center City
Capacity: 140 for a seated dinner or up to 200 for cocktail-style reception
Located in Center City, this stunning bi-level restaurant features dramatic 24-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers, vintage-inspired details, and one of Philadelphia’s most beautiful dining rooms. Every corner feels intentionally designed, making it a dream backdrop for wedding photography. The restaurant can accommodate both intimate private dinners and larger celebrations of around 140 seated guests or more than 200 for cocktail-style receptions. For a smaller space, couples can book Elbow Lane, Harp & Crown’s speakeasy lounge, which features two private bowling lanes.

10) LILAH
Location: Fishtown
Capacity: up to 250 seated for the main event space, up to 50 seated for the Front St. Room
Ok, so Lilah isn’t actually a restaurant but an event space by the restaurant group behind Philly staples like Zahav and Laserwolf. So it’s a perfect wedding venue for couples that want to focus their celebration around delicious food.
Located in Fishtown, Lilah is an airy modern industrial space with a warm atmosphere. Their main space can accommodate 250 guests for a seated dinner, making it an excellent option for couples who want a restaurant wedding without limiting their guest count. Their meals are served family-style with a gorgeous spread of fresh seasonal appetizers (think a meal at Zahav or Laserwolf!) and cocktail hour food is to die for! Bonus point, they are located right in the heart of Fishtown, so there are plenty of cool spots for photos right around the corner.
Lilah’s new additional space, Front St. Room, is perfect to host smaller celebrations of up to 50 people, as well as welcome dinners or after-wedding brunches.
